Don Collins Memorial Scholarship
The Plano Labor Day Invitational Tournament provides the opportunity to raise funds so that the Plano Youth Soccer Association can award college scholarships to area youth who have participated in Soccer activities through Plano Youth Soccer or Plano Schools.
The Don Collins Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Mr. Don Collins, who died of cancer. Mr. Collins was an original founder of the Plano Youth Soccer Association and served as President of the Association.
The Tournament has set up a non-profit trust fund for the scholarships to be distributed on an annual basis. The Scholarships are awarded in the spring to graduating seniors selected by our Scholarship Committee.
